I was in the mood for fun easy pieces to throw on during the warm days of summer. Crops and capris are the perfect balance between casual and cooler weather fair. There are some great ones out in the shops right now.
One of my new favorite places to shop is Miel on the Cupcake sim. If you haven’t been there yet you’re missing out! The fantastic MO pocket pants here paired with the tube top are just a small sample of the wonderful garments you will find in this little boutique. They do a great job of pairing system layers with prims that up the realism of their clothes, and combined with the fine attention to detail and wonderful texturing work, these are pieces you will wear again and again. Even the sunglasses are from Miel.
I love these crops from TuttiFrutti. The simple design lends itself well to showing off the fabulous fabrics that they’ve created for their crops. I paired these with the Kavi top from Zaara; shown here in the long version. It also includes a short version with a ruffled prim bottom that makes this cute blouse very versatile. The shoes are also from Zaara, and with the ability to change the colors of the tops of these, and the styling that goes beyond the usual ballet flat, they’re a pair of flats that even a stiletto addicted girl like me has to own.
The crops here are a great low-rise pair in denim with a twist. I like that they are low-rise but not so low they show your..uhm…you know. The prim cuffs are perfectly done and easy to adjust to fit your leg and still get that close to the body look they’re designed for. The top here is actually a dress from Cupcake’s discount area. I just shrank and readjusted the baby doll skirt attachment to make it the perfect shirt length. And the shoes are OMG fabulous and new from LeLutka. I want them in every color!
